it was stupid.
but it was also theater.
Dillon Yuhasz has been performing in Santa Barbara his entire life. An entrepreneur, writer, improviser, puppeteer, singer, and actor, he is known for his high-energy, ambitious one-man productions that push the limits of what one person can (or should) try to do on stage.
You may have seen Dillon most recently as the title role in SBCC’s production of Young Frankenstein, but his true passion lies in building exciting worlds from scratch with bold and unique characters. Over the past few years, he’s written, produced, directed, and performed a string of original one-man shows, including Faces of Magic and All My Actors Are Dead, each one performed in their backyard-turned-theater, complete with lights, laughter, and the occasional neighbor wondering what exactly is going on.
After years of shows in our backyard, we’re making this thing legit and taking our unique brand of theater to a wider audience with our latest production, The Story of War.
Not Half Bad Theatre was created in collaboration with Brittany Ragan, who serves as designer, prop maker, and collaborator... shaping each production by having an answer when Dillon asks, “Do you think it’s okay if I do [insert wild idea here]?” It’s usually a resounding yes.

FACES OF MAGIC
Vic Libra is the definition of a mediocre magician until a fateful night when the God of Magic issues him a challenge. Perform one real magic trick or the entire universe will be destroyed. To answer the call, Vic enlists the talents of fellow magicians, a hypnotist, a juggler, an escape artist, and an Australian lady who takes care of animals. Dillon Yuhasz plays eight different magicians in this absurd one-man magic show.
